Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Solving problems and delivering solutions to leading-edge OEMs in the wireless segment
Working closely with internal teams to assist in characterization, qualification & debug of OEM-specific wireless platforms
Analyzing and characterizing data in validation of client platforms
Reproducing, troubleshooting, and isolating issues while working closely with the System Apps, Silicon Solutions and Engineering teams to drive resolutions
Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required
Requirements:
BSEE (or equivalent) candidates required, MSEE candidates preferred
Experience developing and using automated RF/Wireless test systems
Working knowledge in C, C++, Python.
Knowledge of the RF PHY requirements for the following wireless communications standards:
o 802.11a/b/g/n/ac WLAN
o 802.15 Bluetooth 2.x, 3.x
o Cellular GSM/GPRS/EDGE, EVDO/HSDPA, LTE
GPS, FM, NFC knowledge a plus
Good working knowledge of RF/system level test equipment such VSAs, VSGs, SAs, SGs, O-scopes, Power Meters, Vector and Scalar NA, Wireless Communication testers, etc.
Strong troubleshooting, analysis, and problem solving skills
Strong presentation, written, and verbal skills
Enthusiastic & proven team player
