RF Engineer Optoplex
Job ResponsibilityIn this role, you will be responsible for the following:
? Design and develop device integration processes for integrated receivers for 40G and 100G communication
? Establish test methods for new product lines and analyze current test methodologies, driving change to achieve ever better product quality and usability
? Develop test plans, test cases, test environments, scripts and result summaries for multiple concurrent projects.
? Characterizes device DC and RF performance over temperature.?
? Collaborate with developers to improve capabilities and diagnose problems
? Utilize RF test equipment such as a Signal Analyzers, Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, and Network Analyzers as part of design verification and qualification.
? Work closely with field engineers world-wide to collaboratively address customer specific applications and resolve customer problems.
Job Requirements
MSEE with 3+? years experience in related area preferably in the high-speed semiconductor devices and optical telecommunications industries
Must have strong fundamentals of transmission lines, EM, and microwave theory.? Strong technical background in RF, analog/digital circuit test design, measurement methodologies and test equipment for IC and module level testing.
Experience with high-speed electronic packaging for digital and analog IC's
Knowledge in digital modulation and demodulation technologies
Experience with VNA and DCA measurements for packages and PCBs characterization
Experience with packaging technologies, materials, package substrate design rules and assembly rules.?
Familiar with package manufacturing and assembly processes
Familiarity with layout tools (PADS), and package design tool Solidworks or AutoCAD
