Duties & Responsibilities Architect, design, develop and test, pcb level RF circuits for use in wireless test equipment in the 10 MHz to 10 GHz range.
Assist other engineering disciplines, product verification, manufacturing, product support, and marketing.
Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required
5+ years experience designing RF hardware at the PCB level. Experience designing RF/wireless test equipment a plus. PCB level experience designing radios using individual circuit blocks (discrete and mmic based), a plus. Wideband (octave+) design experience, a plus.
Ability to use applicable CAD tools (circuit synthesis, simulation, analysis, schematic capture and layout). Experience with PAD?s Powerlogic and pcb layout tools a plus.
Ability to use all applicable test equipment (SPA?s, VSA?s, VSG?s, VNA?s, Phase Noise Test Sets, etc?).
Ability to program engineering level control and automated tests using Labview. Experience using Labview to program SPI interfaces (PLL synthesizers, DDS?s, ADC?s, DAC?s, etc) a plus.
Ability to use soldering and rework tools under microscope and work with 0402 and smaller size components.
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a variety of personnel and cultures.
Must be fluent in both written and verbal English.
