RF MEMS ENGINEER XCOM Wireless

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Major work will be designing and testing microwave and millimeter-wave circuitry such as filters, phase shifters, and chip-scale microwave circuits. The dominant technologies employed include MEMS and micromachining, with a focus in microwave passives. The position will report directly to the Chief Technical Officer or the Vice President of Engineering. The working environment is in an emerging technology startup company with a small close-knit engineering team.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Circuit or component design experience at microwave and millimeter wave frequencies (including 30 GHz).
Knowledge of millimeter-wave test and measurement equipment and techniques.
Familiarity with modern design techniques for feed structures, filters, phase shifters, and integrative passives.
Familiarity with millimeter wave flipchip bonding and packaging.
BS/MS in EE
Experience in RF MEMS design

Security Clearance and/or military contract experience is a bonus.
