RF SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER TagSys

1 JOB DEFINITION:
In the context of our new innovative RFID program, we are looking for a senior RF Design Engineer with 10+ years experience, based in South of France.

As part of a senior project team, the candidate will contribute to TAGSYS targets achievements by providing her/his expertise in RF Design applied to UHF RFID systems, with a strong focus on RF antennas (both reader & tags).
2 MAIN MISSIONS

The main duties of the position are:Analysis, specification, design, implementation, optimization and enhancement of UHF RFID Systems, with strong focus on RF antennas (both reader & tags)
Contribution to the definition and development of Demonstrators / Prototypes
Technical interfacing with external research labs
Patent Submission

3 - Main interlocutors

External: RFID Program consortium which involves RF research labs leaded by LCIS as well as industrial companies.
Internal: Marketing, FAE, R&D, Industrialization teams

4 Main competencies required

Technical competencies:

RF expertise (ideally with academic PhD background) on:Both reader and label antennas
Mainly UHF but also SHF
RF Antenna design
Overall RF System understanding (reader, reader antenna, label, data processing, physics beyond EM)
Recognized experience in RF systems (UHF RFID is definitively a plus)
Outstanding engineer background with strong theoretical background, creativity and innovation
Fast prototyping spirit to quickly eliminate objections on technical feasibilitySimulation expertise
HW Prototyping
Ability to invent TAGSYS future RF systems
