Application Engineers at LitePoint are experts in wireless systems and system architecture, particularly at the PHY or Physical Layer. We develop new ways of utilizing our test and measurement solutions - helping customers to improve product quality, shorten development cycles, and optimize their production testing.
Key Job Responsibilities
Design and implement new test methodologies and concepts working with external customers
Support the field organization in troubleshooting complex customer problems
Travel to customers locations to validate the test solutions
Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required
Qualifications/Experience and Skills Required
Ph.D. or M.Sc. in wireless communication or signal processing
Solid knowledge in the (PHY) physical layers of one or more of cellular Technologies such as LTE, WCDMA, CDMA, GSM, TDSCDMA etc.,)
Experience working with network analyzers, RF test equipment, signal generators and analyzers, oscilloscope, etc.
Test development experience writing scripts in languages such as; C++, C, MatLab
Experience with Mac development environment is a plus
Software and device driver debugging skills
Excellent troubleshooting, analysis, and problem solving skills
Good communication skills, both verbally and written, is a must
The position involves some domestic and international travel
