RF Systems Engineer GATR Technologies, Inc.

GATR Technologies has an immediate opening for an RF Systems Engineer with the following credentials and experience:
Bachelors or Masters degree in electrical engineering or physics and at least 10 years of experience
US Citizenship required

Job Summary:
GATR is looking for a RF Systems Engineer to develop and integrate new products into inflatable Satcom antenna terminals. This job includes introducing new components into the C-band and Ku-band terminals, as well as creating and integrating new products to meet requirements at X band and Ka band. The candidate must have experience generating commercial products and should demonstrate detailed experience with active RF components and general design knowledge of analog circuits, packaging, and testing with standard test equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities
Generate system level requirements for Satcom terminals and flow down requirements for subsystems
Generate link budgets for different operational scenarios
Work with engineering team to fabricate and test first article components
Work with test engineers to certify new antenna terminals and terminal components (amplifiers, modems, spectrum analyzers, etc)
Generate new product ideas
Technically communicate with engineering team members and upper management
Lead junior engineers through the product development cycle (generate requirements, design, fabricate, test, and deploy)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Antenna theory far field and near field measurements
Active RF circuit design amplifiers, filters, matching networks, etc.
Significant experience with spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, signal generator, power meter, and digital data collection devices
Matlab
Excellent technical writing skills
