RF Test Engineer Peregrine Semiconductor
Description
This position requires thorough understanding of RF principles and proven experience in developing test solutions for high volume production of RF Integrated Circuits. Position works closely with Design Engineering, Program Management, and Manufacturing in delivering the highest quality level tested products. The assigned tasks will be diverse in nature which requires exceptional organization skills and high attention to detail.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Supporting new product introductions in defining test plans
Measurement system analysis (GRR), quality system and SPC knowledge.
Writing test programs, designing and or selecting associated RF hardware and test equipment, then releasing same to production.
Knowledge, Skill and Competency Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) principles.
Demonstrative understanding of analog/digital circuit test, measurement methodologies and test equipment for IC and module level testing.
Demonstrated record of releasing high volume RF products into production environment
Proficient in multiple programming languages including ANSI C
The following traits are highly valued:
Rack and stack ATE systems including VXI and PXI
Demonstrated support of off-shore test facility
High volume RF wafer probe experience.
Experience with EG4080 prober and SE probe SW
Minimum of four years of experience using National Instruments CVI development tool
SPC and effective implementation
2.5D Design and Simulation of high frequency load boards.
RF simulation using CAD tools such as ADS
Education and Experience:
BS required, MS preferred in Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 5 years related experience in RF or mixed-signal high-speed ASIC test development.
