The Drilling Contractors Site Supervisor. To properly Manage Drilling Rig site, Well, Equipment and Personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for every activity performed on the Drilling Site.Ensures that all Equipment is Safe and operational.
Ensures that every Company policy is followed.
Responsible for all drilling equipment, maintenance and repairs.
Orders parts and materials, for safe, efficient production of the Rig.
Responsible for every worker on location, including visitors and third parties.
Ensures every Operator policy is followed.
Responsible for daily rig operations and meets productivity goals without compromising safety, company policy, or personal and company integrity.
Responsible for rig safety:
Follows and enforces Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Assists the Operators representative with monitoring and supervision of the wellbore.
Ensures that Well program is followed accurately.
Supervises, coaches and evaluates personnels performance during wellbore operations.
Reports any abnormalities.
Directly supervises any abnormal Drilling operations.
Responsible for all Drilling Rig Equipment.
Responsible for the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
Gives the proper training where necessary.
Can properly diagnose and repair equipment.
Keeps accurate maintenance records.
Accurately keep track of all Company drilling tools and Drill pipe.
Keeps track of rental equipment and handles billing.
Responsible for all required documentation.
Ensures all IADC reports and Documentation is accurate and correct.
Ensures all daily paperwork is correct and accurate.
Responsible for the proper completion of personnel paperwork.
Assists HR with employee paperwork
Assists Safety department with safety documentation.
Keeps accurate records of maintenance, equipment and drilling records.Accurately keeps track of Drilling ton miles and cutoff practices.
Keeps accurate Motor reports and maintenance schedules.
Can accurately complete all company paperwork.
Effectively uses all company computer programs and is proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Word
Responsible for Companies SPCC and HMBP requirements and documentation.
Responsible for Personnel.Responsible for training of new hire personnel.
Supervises the personnel accommodations.
Ensures all PPE is available and used correctly.
Enforces all company policies.
Responsible for employees timecards:
Ensure employee has accurately filled out timecard.
Ensure all time cards are turned into payroll on-time.
Responsible for ensuring employees follow company policy and SOPs:Supervises the overall performance of Drillers and crews.
Knows the 32 unbreakable rules.
Knows company SOPs
Knows the contents of the employee handbook and all company policies.
Communicates clearly and effectively with employees.
Documents misconduct, poor job performance, or safety infractions.
Leads by example, never breaks company policy
Takes ownership of his duties.
Self-Motivated, reliable, Strong Leader, Striving to become a Superintendent or Co-man.
Strong Communication skills.
Develops strong professional relationships with Operators and Third parties.
Conducts self professionally at all times.
Has a high level of personal integrity

Is aware of the cost to operate the rig and is accountable for any decision made that affects rig cost and profit or loss.
Experience and Skills:
7-10 years of related experience.
Strong Leadership skills.
Great communication skills.
Good reading and writing skills.
Organizational skills a must.
Problem solving and critical thinking.
Handles stress well.
Job Level: Mid Career (2+ years)
Years of Experience: 7 - 10 Years
Level of Education: High School/GED
