Job Description :
PEM is currently seeking experienced Riggers. Safely coordinates and assembles rigging to lift and move equipment or material in support of large turbine and generator. Supports the preparation, placement, and rigging used to perform designated lifts. Select the appropriate rigging equipment and hardware. Identify/utilize appropriate lift points and devices. Connect tag/guide lines for lift safety. Support dismantlement of rigging when lifts are complete. Inspect and maintain rigging equipment and components. Store lifting equipment in designated locations. Comply with all regulatory and company policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures. NCCER Certified Rigger required. Additional experience a plus: Use of lifting beams/turbine shells, turbine rotor. Passport is a plus.
