Allegro seeks an experienced Risk Management Software Manager to join our R&D group. The Manager will serves as the liaison between customers, market research, sales and services, and development for new products and product enhancements. We are looking for someone to be based in our Dallas, TX headquarters.
. Challenges of the position include:
Conducts industry research to discover and document end user requirements, competitive strengths and weaknesses, and technological/regulatory requirements.
Defines the business processes and functional requirements of the product; the scope and content of test data and procedures; scope and content of product documentation.
Responsible for complex projects throughout the research, definition, development, testing, documentation and release cycle.
Operates under minimal supervision, with wide latitude for independent action.
Serves as energy industry subject matter expert in field of expertise as it relates to business software functionality. Expertise and work efforts focus primarily on the enhancement of Allegro?s proprietary software products.
Qualifications for consideration:
Ideal candidates for the product manager role will have the following:
Extensive experience in active energy trading environment across multiple commodities with physical and derivative contracts.
Extensive experience with risk management, exposure calculation, forward curves, linear and non-linear analytics, and market simulation.
Understanding of business processes required for market analysis, OTC and online trade control, and profit/loss and exposure reporting.
Experience with implementation and usage of energy trading and risk management systems.
Dynamic and credible presence, outstanding communication skills and the ability to lead and train others is a must!
