Xoom Corporation is revolutionizing the international money transfer market by providing people with an easy, secure, convenient and cost-effective means of sending money worldwide. We are looking for talented user interface developers to help us strengthen our world class risk prevention and mitigation systems in order to successfully combat cybercrime.In this role, you will be responsible for helping shape the future of mission critical risk tools. You will be collaborating closely with engineering, product and operations to develop breathtaking and visually striking user experience for our internal risk operations team.
Qualifications:
Proficient using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Solid understanding of user experience and user interface design principles
Ability to write clean, maintainable and standards compliant code
Experience using jQuery, XML, AJAX and related technologies
Values agile, incremental, test driven development
Passionate about championing new design ideas
Relentless attention to detail
Comfortable using REST, JSON and other web service concepts
Ability to clearly communicate, document and champion user interface requirements, verbally and in writing
Eager to search and explore new libraries and technologies as opposed to reinventing the wheel
Kudos for experience with Java, Groovy, SoapUI and Maven
Desired:
Experience with online fraud and anti cybercrime tools and services
Knowledge of financial systems
Experience in visualizing quantitative data
Education:
BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical training and professional work experience
