Job Description
The RMA Business Analyst is part of the SSN Quality team and it responsible for completing all of Silver Spring Networks RMA transactions for all domestic and US customer and partners. This position has responsibility and authority for actively driving all internal and customer RMA processes while communicating with customers and the management of the status of SSN?s RMA activities. This job requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, Oracle, and Remedy systems. This position reports directly to the Global Director of Customer Quality.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
RMA Coordinator:
Leads the RMA process, issues return material authorization numbers to the customers and tracks the RMA process at SSN?s CM?s
Conducts investigations pertaining to the RMA process; proposes resolution of product or process quality problems
Serves as the primary contact in ensuring that devices are repaired, tested, and shipped to customers in accordance with the requirements of the Quality Management System rules and procedures. Attends various product/project meetings with project or department teams to address product quality and reliability requirements, customer requirements, training and other issues.
Coordinates the RMA flow and tracks the receipt and transfer of RMA units between different stages of RMA process
Manages the stock of replacement parts and re-order points
Prepares Monthly Customer and SSN Management Reporting that monitors the health of SSN?s RMA process and overall Quality of the installed population
Proactively analyze returns to detect any potential quality issues as early as possible.
Works closely with other team members to continually improve the system, documentation and processes. Senior management will look to this individual to articulate risks and relate them to our customer's requirements
Required Skills
Undergraduate Degree or above.
6+ years of relevant work experience
Must be a self-starter willing to work with little to no supervision
Must have good interpersonal relationship skills, and be able to work effectively in culturally diverse situations
Regularly contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards.
Interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
Must be able to communicate effectively at varying technical levels with an international audience.
Oracle and Remedy experience is desired
