About the Position
The Reval Professional Development Program (PDP) provides the opportunity to complete interdepartmental rotations based on individual development and department needs over a period of one year. The goal of this program is to gain a better understanding of Reval?s business, financial markets and customer needs. Each participant is mentored during the program and his/her performance is reviewed after each rotation.
Participate in Reval University to learn about the financial industry, hedge accounting and the Reval product.
Perform all or some of the following depending on the groups assigned to:
Assist with implementations and learn the lifecycle of a client product implementation.
Experience the fast paced world of managing customer expectations and providing real time solutions.
Compile and validate Reuters Market Data within Reval.
Deliver high-quality, mission-critical software solutions.
Gain hands-on experience with major and maintenance software releases; write test plans and manage test data.
Qualification / Required Experience:
Under-graduate degree in Finance, Engineering or Technology preferred
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated leadership abilities
Internship in the financial service industry a plus
Gain experience in the product development life cycle. Understand functional and technical requirements for product changes and enhancements and write functional specifications for product changes or enhancements.
Be part of a team which supports Reval clients and assist with client inquiries, process client trades and provide a host of services such as valuations, stress testing, and hedge accounting reporting.
Technology Skills Requirements:
Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Knowledge of other tools/applications a plus
