Working inside our RTB/Exchange group, the RTB Media Analyst uses predictive modeling, statistics, trend analysis, and other data analysis techniques to collect, explore and identify the right data to be analyzed from internal and external sources, then constructs tests and algorithms to explain or predict customer behavior and solve a variety of business problems. Builds predictive models using data, tests the model on results outside of the sample size and verifies the model in the real world. Projects span margin optimization, auction efficiencies, content serving rules and many others
Analyze various types of data and processes in a versatile manner and present findings and recommendations in a professional manner
Recommend changes to address deficiencies and/or further improve and streamline performance based on analysis findings.
Enhance predictive models for improved advertising and auction performance
Design data tests based upon business goals, and articulate results and recommendations based upon results.
Assist with developing effective reporting views and delivery for the P&L teams.
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with experience in solving for smaller, incremental business wins with big data.
Experience with Data visualization tools.
Knowledge in natural language processing a plus.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently and work with development team.
Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively present information to internal and external clients.
Resourceful, figure-it-out-and-get-it-done mentality. Ability to work independently in a team environment and help resolve any impasses during a project.
Strong organization skills; must be able to prioritize daily, weekly and monthly tasks and possess a 'sense of urgency'.
