Ruby on rails Web developer Market Maker Interactive, Inc.

This is a mid-level programmer position with lots of internal and external work. This can be a full time position to develop an awesome ongoing content aggregation site for one of our clients with personalized RSS, widgets and iframes. We will hire a freelancer if we have to.

Requirements:
- 1 year experience with Ruby (Perl/python)
- 1 year experience with Ruby on Rails
- 3 years experience with web development (HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP/Servlets)
- Must be comfortable with rational database management
- Must be comfortable with AJAX
- Must be comfortable on the phone with very technical clients
- Ability to program code which generates standards compliant XHTML and CSS
- Knowledge of PHP is a huge bonus

What we want: 3 years experience developing interactive, dynamic, data-driven, highly available websites and web systems; Strong knowledge JavaScript (DHTML, AJAX, table-less layouts are a plus).
