SaaS Alliances Executive - iON Cloud Platform - San Francisco MuleSoft

MuleSoft seeks a high-energy, execution-oriented Alliances Executive to drive revenue through the identification, development, sales execution and management, of new OEM partners for it's iON cloud integration platform. The candidate will report to the Mgr of SaaS Alliances and will function in a hunter centric role, responsible for acquiring and on-boarding new OEM partners.
As part of the iON team the OEM Account Executive will lead our efforts to expand our growing OEM business. Your sales focus will be directed at SaaS ISV's and Cloud-centric SIs with the goal of creating packaged integration applications (iApps) that extend and accelerate the use of their SaaS application with their end users. We are looking for highly creative, motivated, skilled negotiators who are interested in transforming the technology landscape. This role requires a self-starter who is capable of managing the entire OEM acquisition sales process from initial contact and opportunity identification through to formalizing of the partnership.
Role and Responsibilities:- Develop opportunities, advise on, promote and formalize partnerships with SaaS companies that would benefit from the iON Integration Platform as a Service.
- Own acquisition strategy for new MuleSoft OEM partners
- Manage each step in the OEM deal process from strategy/planning, pipeline development, prospecting, outreach, solution definition, terms negotiation, contract drafting and on-boarding
- Define business use cases for iON integration solutions, lead the iApp specification process including functional description and design win (with technical services support).
- Work closely with peers from various teams (engineering, iApp services, marketing, product marketing & finance) to ensure iON growth targets are met.
Requirements:- Motivated, entrepreneurial self-starter
- 5 plus years experience in BD strongly preferred
- Strong OEM background with predominant focus on new partner acquisition
- Consistent track record of achievement in fast paced sales environments
- Superior verbal and written communication; presentation, consultative and negotiation skills
- High energy with the ability to operate independently and adapt well in a high-growth environment
- Expert task master with ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Outstanding relationship-building skills along with a high degree of responsiveness, absolute integrity and commitment
