SaaS Database / Application Administrator Courion

To help us extend our lead in the Identity Management market, Courion is seeking a SaaS Database / Application Administrator to lead the operation of our cloud applications. This individual will take the lead role in creating, configuring, operating and maintain the SQL & application software required to deliver Courion's Access Risk Management Suite from the cloud. This engineer will work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, flexible environment with responsibilities across the full range of SQL and application administration activities required to deliver industry-leading enterprise software to market.
Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for maintaining the SQL & application infrastructure Courion's cloud environment
Monitor and optimize all application and database operations
Assist with customer implementations (database adds, migrations)
Ensure database backups are meeting documented policies
Setup and monitor database mirroring
Monitor, troubleshoot & resolve:
Windows clustering / IIS issues
SQL clustering / mirroring / backup restore issues
Help with capacity planning
Coordinates with System Administrators to do disaster recovery testing
Works with the office of the CSO on implementing security & auditing controls
Reviews and resolves ticket assignments daily
Review and respond to application and database related reports and alerts
Perform routine database cleanup and optimization
Test SQL environment patches and service packs for delivery into Courions cloud environment
When needed, be available on-call for off hours support

Requirements:

Required experience:
Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
5+ years in SQL database administration supporting SQL Server 2005 / 2008 / 2008 R2 including demonstrable proficiency with:
SQL backup and restore
Performance tuning and monitoring
TSQL scripting / stored procedure / triggers
One or more of the following:
MCITP: Database Administrator 2008 Certification
Experience with SQL HA Clustering and Mirroring between multiple sites
PowerShell scripting
IIS 7 web services with .NET applications
Testing / documenting SQL Server disaster recovery
VMWare VSphere 4.x or greater
Previous experience within a SaaS environment supporting .NET web applications highly desirable
