The SaaS Operations team is responsible for keeping our web-based application secure and continuously available to our customers. Team members share responsibilities ranging from network and server administration, to automation of software deployments and database administration. The right candidate will bring a diverse technical skill set as well the ability to quickly learn new technologies.Qualified candidates will demonstrate the following qualities:

Responsibilities
Administer multiple production and staging environments, each consisting of servers, network appliances, storage, and virtualization hosts
Specify and implement best practices and processes
Analyze and optimize database and system performance, work with developers to use real-world load and usage patterns to inform future product design
Interact with customers as a technical resource in such areas as:
Security requirements and testing
Operations environment architecture and process control
Customized deployments or monitoring
Data recovery, disaster planning, operational incident reports
Security requirements and testing
Provide highest-tier of customer support for critical events
Qualification Requirements
Effective written and verbal communications skills are a must
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Strong knowledge of VMWare virtualization technologies
5+ years experience with layer 2 and 3 networking, Cisco experience a plus
5+ years experience administering mixed Windows and Linux environments
Experience in any of the following areas is a plus:
Scripting (Powershell, Python)
Integration with Microsoft Office products
SQL Server
SharePoint and Exchange Administration
