THE GIG
EdgeCast is looking for a Sales Administrator whose primary responsibilities are to support the Sales Director in providing sales assistance and coordination to the sales team. In addition the Sales Coordinator will be ensuring that the needs of all customers and prospective customers are met in a timely and positive manner.
Support the Business Development Team and Account Management by handling administrative requests and related projects
Effectively prioritize and handle multiple projects
Review service orders, quotes and documentations for errors
Generate reports related to sales activities and revenue through Salesforce.com, and prep for sales meetings.
Help establish and implement processes that will streamline the sales process
Create quotes and proposals upon requests from the sales reps
Assist the sales team in reviewing inbound leads, and ensuring they are entered into the system for effective follow up
Manage schedules, book travel, and organize tradeshow schedules for the sales team
Answer and route inquiries from customers and prospective customers as needed
Be the primary liaison between the sales team and the billing department
Other general office and sales support duties as required
THE SKILLS
BA/BS preferred
Recent administrative experience using Salesforce.com, demonstrating the ability to run reports
Experience customizing reports in Salesforce.com a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite ? Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Advanced expertise with Office, such as Word and Excel templates/macros a plus
Ability to manage and prioritize requests coming from multiple team members
Desire to create and improve team processes
Desire to expand role into Account Management or Business Development role
