THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for sales reporting, commission and quota calculations, forecast administration, and systems territory alignment management. This position will play a key role supporting Sales, Marketing, Finance, and ad hoc requests from senior management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned on an individual basis:
Participate in creation of sales compensation plans and incentive programs, including tracking plan performance/payout and serving as a point of contact for all comp-related questions
Play a key role in the quota setting process, including recommending quotas, distributing quotas to Regional Sales Managers, advising on quota adjustments and calculating payout rates
Responsible for sales reporting, including daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports, rankings, historical performance and management sales force performance dashboards
Calculate monthly commission payments based on sales compensation plans and quotas, maintain automated commission calculators and provide commission reports to sales management
Administer territory alignment system updates including quota/account changes and provide data-driven guidance on territory alignments to sales management
Administer and support field forecasting tools and track forecasting performance
Utilize historical sales and market data to support Sales with strategic planning and account targeting
Manage field physical inventory process, including trend analysis
Participate in the development of the SalesForce CRM and manage database updates and reporting if applicable
Interact with Senior Management to provide sales metrics and corresponding PowerPoint slides
Utilize CRM and other reporting tools to create and generate a variety of reports, including marketing analysis and product allocations
Participate in design of sales contests; compute and track results on an as-needed basis
Other similar responsibilities as requested by Finance, Sales and Marketing management
Bachelor?s degree in Economics, Finance, Sales and Marketing, Business or related discipline and a minimum of two years of related experience
Ideal candidate experienced with Cognos, QAD, and SalesForceor similar sales reporting software
Familiar with basic data management practices, including maintaining data hierarchies, understanding database architecture, and relational database design
Advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot table creation and use of the vlookup function
Proficient in MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, Windows and Word
Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
Interest in and ability to address needs from multiple internal customers such as Senior Management, sales management, sales professionals and marketing management.
Proven ability to meet deadlines, follow-through on details, provide input and feedback to the team. Ability to work as a team member and ability to be very flexible, adaptable, and to work under pressure.
Self-motivated and self-directed; conscientious approach to work assignments; enjoys the challenges of multitasking and working at a fast pace while staying flexible to shift tasks frequently.
