We are currently looking for an energetic and talented individual to serve as an account manager for our diverse client base. The ideal candidate has experience with managing large accounts and dealing with a lot of different issues in a day. This person enjoys working in a fast paced start-up environment and will constantly seek out new challenges. The person must be willing to work closely with multiple merchants in providing excellent customer service, account management duties and reporting. The person will be responsible for numerous large and medium accounts and must have good prioritization skills with attention to detail. The position reports to the Client Services Manager.Responsibilities:
? Maintain current merchant base by providing exceptional service to merchant.
? Work closely with Channel Partners to provide excellent service to existing merchants and facilitate the recruitment of new merchants through these partners.
? Make recommendations to merchants concerning new features, promotions and account optimization.
? Extensive phone and email communications with merchant partners.
? Grow the business by working closely with retailers to optimize their product listings, engage with former clients to retry our service, and upsell new services.
? Work closely with other teams (marketing, engineering, product management) in the organization.
? Work on shopping related projects to better both the Retailer and Consumer experience on our site.
? Represent the company at trade shows and marketing events.
? Coordinate feedback with the internet marketing group concerning keyword campaigns on Google, Yahoo!, MSN and other.
Qualifications/Experience:
? Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
? Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment.
? Good customer service and problem-solving skills.
? Thrives in a goal driven environment.
? Knowledgeable of the internet industry and Proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
? BA/BS degree
? 3-5 years of account management experience a plus
? Start-up experience a plus
