Summary:
The Sales and Marketing Associate will require a sales professional that will have responsibility for engaging with operations and marketing decision makers to set sales appointments, schedule presentations and developing on-going relationships. This position reports to the Vice President of Sales. It requires strategic selling skills, excellent active listening skills as well as a blend of lead generation, prospecting, business acumen and creativity. Also required are strong time management skills and the ability to interface effectively at multiple levels of a client marketing and operations organization, up to and including ?C-level? executives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Cold call, prospect and lead generation activity within an assigned territory.
Identify and establish contact with decision makers at select Fortune 1,000 companies.
Question prospects in order to qualify perspective clients.
Clearly articulate our compelling value proposition in a client-focused context.
Determine client needs and gauge interest in customer-centric market research services.
Work with team members in Marketing to develop a winning sales strategy for potential clients.
Develop an understanding of competitive offerings and pricing in the marketplace.
Conduct outreach to sales leads generated by the Marketing department.
Develop integrated information services proposals as Market Force acquires new product providers and adapt to new product offerings and go to market strategies.
Utilize salesforce.com to prepare target lists for cold calling, maintain prospect data and prioritize daily activity.
Assist in the development of sales materials as required; presentations, proposals and contracts.
Work closely with the Vice President of Sales to support on-going sales and marketing campaigns.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
Bachelor?s degree ? recent graduates encouraged to apply.
Desire to start a career in consultative sales and an ability to learn new services and product offerings quickly.
Must be comfortable presenting services and solutions over the phone.
Excellent PC skills using spreadsheet, presentation, word processing and sales contact software.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills and attention to detail.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, team player.
Confident and competitive with tenacious work ethic and attitude.
Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment with changing priorities.
