The operations manager will work with key members of the sales, marketing, and finance teams to optimize and continuously improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and performance of our sales and marketing processes. This high-impact role requires a unique blend of strategic and tactical skills ? someone who is highly organized with a fierce attention to process and detail, but is able to draw ?big picture? conclusions and make actionable business recommendations based on an understanding of our sales and marketing goals.
The desired location for this position is our Boca Raton, FL office, but we will consider highly qualified candidate from major cities in the Eastern United States.
Responsibilities
Design ? lead the design of sales and marketing processes, reporting systems, lead-nurturing programs, lead scoring, and automated communications programs
Configure ? acquire, segment and pull lists to build campaigns and lead-nurturing programs using our sales and marketing automation tools; setup and execute tactical sales tasks associated with customized landing pages, e-mail campaigns and lead scoring rules
Launch ? deploy online marketing lead-generation efforts, including search engine marketing and e-mail marketing programs (list pulls, e-mail blasts, etc.) designed to maximize customer response and sales pipeline development
Report ? design sales dashboards, build and maintain an Excel-based metric tracking system that makes it easy to identify revenue obstacles and where we need to focus our efforts. Create a marketing dashboard of key performance indicators that is automatically updated to reflect current sales and marketing activity and ROI
Analyze ? create sales and marketing analytics dashboards that are used to continuously refine and improve our lead-generation efforts, which will enable us to make data-driven decisions. Make the dashboard visually engaging and highly actionable. Perform A/B testing on all elements of marketing campaigns (lists, e-mail templates, landing pages, offers, etc.) and continuously improve campaign effectiveness
Synthesize ? distill data from analytics and implement improvements to our sales and marketing processes and lead-generation programs. Perform regular tracking of marketing performance. Continually monitor, analyze and tune campaigns to maximize value delivery and ROI
Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in communications, journalism or public relations and a minimum of 5-7 years hands-on marketing communication and public relations experience and a minimum of 2+ years of social media experience with the following qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in quantitative or business discipline (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics, marketing, finance, etc.)
Must have advanced experience using salesforce.com and Marketo or similar marketing automation systems
Experience driving data and reporting requirements with a clear understanding of where data resides and how to produce reports
Knowledge of and experience pulling lists
Strong analytical thinker who considers issues from a business perspective
Great attention to detail, process oriented and highly organized yet able to see the ?big picture?
Experience with database querying/reporting tools and configuring and/or running reports in salesforce.com
Experience/passion for A/B testing
Proficiency in MS Excel and a love for numbers
Above average listening, written and oral communications skills
Ability to thrive in an autonomous, fast-paced work environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience working with and supporting large inside and field sales teams
Experience with database querying/reporting tools and SEO is a major plus
