Gnip, the world's largest provider of social data, is actively seeking a Sales Associate with experience in sales, cold calling, and SalesForce as we continue to help better serve the growing market demand.
We're looking for an experienced sales professional with prior experience in cold calling, lead qualification, and sales documentation. This role will work closely with prospective customers to help educate them on Gnip's current product offering. This role serves the sales team and requires constant collaboration with the marketing, accounting, and product teams as well as the ability to multi-task accordingly. This role will own the inbound product inquiry and lead flow which will require communicating with potential customers, current customers, and other employees of Gnip on a daily basis. Along with owning the inbound channel, this role will also be given the opportunity to close early stage deals. This role will require constant follow-up with prospects and current customers to ensure that every request for information is met, followed-up on, and well documented in the CRM (this is critical). Applicants will be required to have experience using SalesForce and the ability to learn new programs quickly. Applicants with technical skills and programming aptitude are highly valued.

Ready, willing, and able to work in fast-paced start-up environment
1-2 years proven sales background
Understanding of social media (Twitter, Disqus, Wordpress, Tumblr, etc)
Experience selling / the ability to work in a team selling environment
Perspective on improving process and product highly valued
Experience with CRM solutions, preferably Salesforce
Expert knowledge of Google Suite (Drive, Sites, Mail, and Calendar)
Highly organized individual
Experience working on teams
Emphasis on time management
