We love what we do -- and it shows! LivingSocial Escapes is the division of LivingSocial that creates one-of-a-kind travel experiences for our members. From Vegas to New York, our team is uniquely packaging travel experiences that are one of a kind.
We?re looking for a visionary Escapes Sales Associate that will help design unique trip experiences with the most popular and desirable lodging and getaway partners.
Work closely with Directors and Regional Managers to coordinate the organization and implementation of LivingSocial Escapes offers
Assess and improve leads for future Escapes deals
Communicate with potential merchants to explain LivingSocial Escapes and set appointments with senior managers
Make a high volume of outbound calls (50+/day) to a variety of local travel/resort destinations across multiple cities in the US and Canada to introduce the LivingSocial platform, in order develop relationships and pipelines for the Escapes sales team
Educate our Escapes clients on the power of online advertising with LivingSocial
Who will love this position?
0-2 years? experience in a professional environment, preferably sales and marketing related
You are comfortable making 50+ cold calls a day
Bachelor?s Degree with excellent academic record
Exceptional phone skills and professionalism
Strong work ethic, competitive, and desire a career in Inside Sales
Outgoing and personable
Anyone passionate about starting a sales career in travel
Fun, outgoing personality with a passion for LivingSocial
Top-notch oral and written skills; ability to communicate over the phone
Be goal-oriented, self-motivated, creative, flexible and adaptable to new situations
Ability to think strategically in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing to meet deadlines
Bachelor?s Degree required
Exceptional phone and communication skills with the ability to sell the LivingSocial Escapes concept at decision-making levels.
Excellent online research skills
A genuine interest in an entry level sales position with LivingSocial Escapes
Experience working in the Travel/Tourism/Hospitality Industry is a plus
