We have multiple openings for a rewarding and lucrative Sales Associate position for extraordinarily talented and motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environments. We have openings across all product areas: Event Management, Web Surveys and Supplier Network. Your main responsibility will be lead qualification as you will serve as initial point of contact with prospective customers and provide product information to prospects interested in learning more about Cvent's products and viewing a product demonstration. You will be required to demonstrate solution-selling skills and work closely with the senior sales team to ensure prospects turn into actual customers. The career path in this position is unlike almost any other sales position you may have seen in the market.Our team of 130 sales professionals is a very diverse group and many started with us directly from the top universities in the Mid-Atlantic. We tend to hire bright people who are very motivated to succeed. You will participate in an eight-week, structured training program, and you will find that our processes and techniques are as advanced as many Fortune 500 companies.

As a sales associate you'll have the chance to help us increase our market share and expand our existing international client base.
This position has opportunity to travel to Cvent's international offices to provide training and mentoring to our global Sales team.
Bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Excel at developing relationships over the phone
Ability to handle high outbound call volume with correspondingly high talk time
Must be articulate, organized, detail-oriented, and have the ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-changing environment
Proficient computer skills (Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
Serve as the first point of contact and provide product information to prospective customers
Lead identification and qualification
Partner with senior sales team to achieve new business quotas
Attend industry events to meet with prospective customers
Drive traffic to Cvent seminars and online demonstrations
Assist marketing with campaign strategies
Provide feedback for product enhancements
