Sales Associate: Job Profile
The Sales team at eMarketer is responsible for prospecting and recruiting new qualified leads into the top of the sales funnel for eMarketer Business Development Executives. Sales Associates are highly effective communicators and are able to gain access to senior-level executives and distinguish between their unique business needs across a wide variety of roles and industries.
Sales Associates specialize in high quality communication over phone, voicemail, and email. They know how to articulate the eMarketer story and value in a succinct and compelling way. They are creative and find ways to peak interest in eMarketer, to qualify new prospects, and to relate the eMarketer content and platform to people?s daily challenges through a mix of persistent outreach, consultative conversation, and effective personalized, content marketing.
As a Sales Associate, you will have two primary goals:
(1) Respond to inbound phone inquiries and pre-qualify new prospects.
(2) Outbound prospecting to engage new prospects. Prospecting activities will include: identify strong targets within a territory; identify new contacts at target accounts; construct and execute effective strategies for engaging and qualifying prospects, and where appropriate, securing meetings for eMarketer Business Development Executives.
History of setting goals and achieving them, in the classroom, playing field, or in business
Minimum of 1-3 years of related experience (e.g. sales associate, inside sales, marketing, etc)
Exceptional verbal and writing skills
Prior participation in a winning team environment
Bachelors Degree or higher
Interest in developing yourself to become a successful sales executive
You enjoy being part of a team and doing whatever it takes to help that team succeed
