Sales Associate BidShift
Purpose:
The Sales Associate role will have a significant impact on the sales team's success by clearing the path for the sales reps to effectively sell by supporting the field sales team in a variety of administrative, creative and technical capacities.
Core Responsibilities:
Respond to initial sales leads; pre-qualify, and engage field sales for appropriate follow-up.
Assist in the coordination and scheduling of prospect interactions, including demonstrations, presentations, discovery calls; attend, write draft sales process letters (CCS-based), update SalesForce.com (SFDC) data in a timely manner.
Preparation and maintenance of demonstration of system for Concerro field Sales team
Coordinate meetings and trip building for (2) senior sales reps.
Set up calls for senior sales reps to prepare references, takes notes and produces summary for rep review prior to sending to prospect
Lead Company response to RFPs, contracts, proposals and other materials.
At times, set up and conduct initial web demonstrations of products with potential clients.
Assist in the customization of marketing-created client specific presentations in MS PowerPoint.
Consult with marketing team as needed to ensure that key marketing messages are being used in proposals.
Creates and implements sales productivity tools. Ensures sales process adoption and compliance
Coordinate private dinners at trade shows and local industry events, as needed.
Maintains internal documentation for the sales team.
Assist in the development of a formalized training plan with competency check offs for new reps.
Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement..
Coordinate with the Marketing team as sales liaison for various campaigns to target corporate clients.
Support field sales reps by fielding questions and acting as back-up when they are on the road.
Proactively anticipates client requests and responds to questions.
Seeks and identifies areas of cross selling opportunity with new clients.
The Ideal Candidate:
A clinical background in nursing or scheduling is highly desirable.
A Bachelor degree strongly preferred
An understanding of healthcare staffing challenges and comparative software solutions.
A demonstrated proficiency in research, utilizing the internet and preparing presentations.
Demonstrated independent working and decision making skills
Strong analytical and administrative capabilities.
A client focused attitude.
Strong team building and relationship management abilities.
Ability to communicate with high level executives and other key stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
The talent to develop relationships via telephone and conduct web-based presentations
Strong desire for promotion within our growing sales organization.
Local San Diego candidates preferred as the position will spend 75-90 at the corporate office in Sorrento Valley.
Career Path:
A successful sales associate will be groomed to grow into a field sales associate and above through continued learning of clientele, industry knowledge and sales techniques. The anticipated time in this position is 18-24 months.
