Overview of Role
viagogo the international ticket exchange is growing quickly and is looking to hire ambitious, intelligent, and talented people to help expand our business.
The Sales Associate based in either San Francisco or New York, offers you a chance to make a big impact. Reporting directly to the North America Business Development Manager, your main responsibility will be to help drive new client acquisition.
Youll call on sports teams, music promoters, theater managers, venues, and others that run live events to bring them on board as viagogo customers. You will build on your strengths, develop new skills, and be part of the core team that expands viagogos growing presence in North America.
Travel will be required as a main part of the role, as you will be calling on accounts across the US. Depending on time of year, approximate travel time is estimated up to 50.
Finally, at viagogo youll work with fun people who are committed to helping fans gain access to tickets to the best live events in the world
Responsibilities:
The role will vary depending on business needs, but potential projects could include:
Call on targeted accounts in professional sports, college sports, music, theatre, and other live events
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key client contacts
Meet or exceed sales and service goals
Continue to develop existing accounts and relationships
Work with the Business Development Manager in North America to help build viagogo's customer base
Skills and Attributes:
Interest in the sports, live music and hospitality industries
High degree of creativity, curiosity, and optimism, with an eye for possibilities that will drive the business forward
Proven experience achieving and exceeding goals with minimal direct supervision

A sense of humor and positive, make-it-work attitude
Must be comfortable with standard office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience:
2-4 years of experience in a client-facing role
Sales and/or account management experience preferred but not required
Bachelors Degree
Pre-MBA role (no graduate degree required)
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
