We are seeking a professional and experienced Sales Consultant / Pre-Sales Engineer, or Implementation Consultant wishing to enter the Sales Consulting world, who will help close business by providing the functional and technical expertise in support of the sale of Noetix products and implementation services. You can be based anywhere in Eastern United States and at a home office when you are not traveling.
Core Deliverables and Responsibilities:
As a Sales Consultant/ Pre-Sales Engineer you will work closely with the Regional Sales Managers and Account Executives and other Sales Consultants/ Pre-Sales Engineers, providing the technical Data Warehouse expertise in support of the sale of Noetix products and implementation services. You will analyze customer reporting requirements and develop solution mockups and demonstrations that reflect how the Noetix products will work in their environment. You will make presentations on aspects of our products, provide technical overviews, and perform follow-up support to the customers and business partners to ensure a consistent high level of satisfaction. You will manage deals and be responsible for coordinating activities in the sales process. You will manage Proofs of Concepts as needed. In addition, you will provide feedback to product marketing and engineering on product features requested by clients and partners.
3+ years of technical Data Warehouse pre-sales or implementation experience is required
Experience working with the Oracle eBusiness Suite 11i or R12 is required
Knowledge and experience with Business Intelligence tools such as BusinessObjects, Cognos, OBIEE, Informatica, Microsoft Business Intelligence is a plus but not required
Knowledge of reporting strategies, tools, and applications for enterprise-wide deployment
Excellent communication and presentation skills. Must be able to effectively communicate to both technical and non-technical personnel
Positive interpersonal skills working in a team selling environment
Education / Training / Certification:
Bachelor?s degree or related field and/or equivalent work experience in software sales preferred
