The Regional Sales Consultant is an experienced sales professional who is responsible for identifying, qualifying and closing sales to targeted Health and Human Services organizations. These clients may or may not be utilizing Harmony solutions currently and require interaction with most senior levels within the customer organization. Harmony has multiple offerings for state and local organizations including various SaaS solutions, professional services and training. The targeted client may be either for-profit or not for profit. Our software solutions include a distinct focus on consumer case management, financial management of care programs, caregiver communications and outcomes management.
Compensation is provided via a base salary and commission/bonuses based upon targeted sales quotas.
Responsibilities & Duties
--Identify, qualify and drive to close Harmony's SaaS solution to assigned customer base
--Investigation of clients' strategic, financial, cultural, and operational pain points
--Application of information gathered from investigation and already gained product knowledge to create linkage between pain points and Harmony solutions
--Establishing of networks and relationships so as to establish and develop new business contacts
--Performing cold calls and follow up calls to clients and leads with ease and high impact
--Preparation and designing of presentations, quotes, and SOW for customers
--Attending industry trade shows to generate new leads and build upon existing relationships
--Work with the Sales Engineer to conduct effective solution demonstrations needed to close sales with well qualified prospects
--Develop and execute on business plan for assigned territory. Ensuring internal resources are used on priority accounts and opportunities.
--Keep up-to-date on industry, competitors, new product development, functions and features
--Build, maintain and manage robust pipeline utilizing Salesforce
--Utilize solution selling, view the big picture and utilize creative ideas to support the customers end goal
--Coordinate and lead internal cross functional teams from pre-sales to hand-off
--Convincingly communicate Harmony solution value propositions
--Bachelor's degree in business, technology, human services or related field is preferred
--3+ years of experience selling software solutions
--Consultative selling background with outstanding business acumen
--Track record of consistently meeting and exceeding assigned goals and objectives
--A strong sense of organization, with strict attention to detail
--Demonstrated flexibility to manage multiple tasks, solve problems and work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
--Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills is required
--Prior experience in C-level positioning
--Able to create and communicate complex solutions
--Experience upselling existing customer base by leveraging all solutions and resources
--Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
--Demonstrated proactive problem solving skills
--Thrives in a team-oriented, entrepreneurial corporate environment
--Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
--Readiness to travel up to 25% annually
--5+ years of experience selling enterprise level software solutions
--Experience in selling to State government and/or local agencies
--Prior experience working for a Human Service organization or provider is highly desired
--Experience with solution based selling techniques
--Experience in long term care
--Experience using Salesforce.com
--Experience writing business documents such as proposals, business plans, marketing materials and sales presentations
