Sales Contracts Manager Ruckus Wireless

To meet this demand for our products, Ruckus is seeking an experienced contracts manager to support our sales efforts. Reporting to our Deputy General Counsel ? Commercial at our Sunnyvale headquarters, the Sales Contract Manager will partner with program management to meet the contracting needs of our sales team throughout the sales cycle from prospecting to managing our contractual obligations post-signing. Your responsibilities will include:
Determining common commercial terms of our carrier customers and significant sales channel partners
Working across business units to develop Ruckus business capabilities to meet those demands
Determining a range of options Ruckus can offer to address contractual requirements of our customers
Build a sales ?playbook? defining Ruckus responses to contractual provisions and building an empowerment matrix for escalating concessions
Prepare responses to RFPs, tenders and other commercial bidding situations where Ruckus field sales or sales partners are engaged
Working with internal and external company counsel as appropriate, review, revise and negotiate commercial contracts with carrier customers and significant sales channel partners
Working with program management, obtain and document concession approvals and final deal approval across business units within the company
To be considered, you should have the following qualifications:
A J.D. degree or other legal training is preferable, but not required
5+ years of experience managing the sales contract process for field sales organizations, preferably in both large enterprises and start-up environments
At least 2 years? experience supporting sales efforts to cable and wireline/wireless telecommunication carriers domestically and internationally
The ability to address novel challenges in a fast paced, sales driven organization
Demonstrated ability to draft non-standard contracts and an understanding of common legal and business issues related to the sale of hardware and the license of software
