The Sales Coordinator will work closely with both the sales and marketing teams in assisting to identify and convert new customers, grow existing accounts, meet (or exceed) quarterly sales quotas. Success in this position requires a passion for talking with people, solving problems, persistence, identifying opportunities and winning. This role includes administrative tasks, analytical skills, email follow-up with potential customers and the goal of assisting the sales team in identifying and organizing Sales Qualified Leads (SQL).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
MONITOR, QUALIFY AND MANAGE IN-BOUND LEADS
Manage lead qualification and early-stage sales for the sales team.
Monitor sales inquiries and other marketing-generated leads via e-mail, phone, social media, etc.)
Respond to sales inquiries in a timely manner and develop appropriate lead engagement strategy
Perform account research to have a clear understanding of lead source
Responsible to undertake extra research on the lead/account to help facilitate an engagement strategy
PASS ON LEADS
Pass leads onto the appropriate salesperson.
SELF-GENERATED LEAD RESEARCH AND OUTBOUND PROSPECTING
Utilize available tools to perform self-directed research on the industry to uncover new leads for processing.
TRENDING, ANALYSIS, AND OPTIMIZATION
Responsible for contributing to the analysis of prospect inquiry and lead trends
Participate in the design and implementation of lead scoring and automation of lead assignment.
Gather, analyze and report data regarding the performance of the sales team for areas of improvement and growth
Provide feedback to sales organization regarding the quality of leads coming from each marketing vehicle (email, phone, web forms, etc.) to spot best practices and areas for improvement in lead generation.
CRM DATABASE MAINTENANCE
Perform regular updates and maintenance of the CRM database
Minimum Skills Required
4 year degree with 0 ? 2 years working experience; previous experience within inside sales a plus
Strong computer skills required
MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Social Networking sites (i.e. LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
CRM products, Salesforce.com is preferred
Organization and time management skills, with an ability to cope with a fluctuating workload
Ability to adapt quickly to new and varied job tasks in a fast paced environment
Incredible attention to detail, to ensure accurate use of internal systems and processing of information
Analytical skills to enable quick compilation of additional research
A proven track record in a role supporting sales and/or marketing teams
Proficiency with social networking sites
Attention to detail, dependable, diligent and dynamic
Previous experience in a high volume inside sales organization
