Sales Coordinator I SeaMobile
GENERAL PURPOSE: This position will report to Manager of Account Management and will have the primary
responsibilities of providing administration, team coordination and support for Sales, Sales processes, contract
process management and services implementation. The position will provide dynamic support for MTN sales
personnel and management of MTN?s General Sales Agents (GSAs), Maritime Service Providers (MSPs) and
? Independently assembles data and prepares complex reports, proposals, quotations, contracts and related
documentation for Sales.
? Helps draft proposals and confers with Sales Engineering and Operations to develop documentation related
to existing and future contracts, including preparation of RFI/RFP responses.
? Assists sales team with coordinating travel, accommodations, logistics, and processing expense reports.
? Coordinates all sales contact and contract database resources, sales operations reporting, and provides
follow-up on potential sales leads via the appropriate medium including telephone, e-mail, printed collateral,
detailed proposal information and contracting stages of new account development.
? Resolves customer contractual and account services issues with independent action, coordinating between
operations, engineering and accounting in order to provide an excellent standard of service to internal and
? Maintains and updates billing report including monthly fixed fees, terrestrial charges, revenue share
percentages, Enhanced Services selections and other sources of revenue or Database/CRM as provided.
? Coordinates project teams for contract implementation including Operations, Logistics, and Engineering for
the commencement services and issues Request for Invoice for all services.
? Creates leads, opportunities, and quotes in ERP systems
? Track customer communications in CRM via activities such as phone calls, tasks, or appointments
? Assist Legal department with customer contractual agreements and addenda.
? Supports Managing Director, Directors of Sales, Sales Managers and other sales efforts.
? Conducts special research projects as may be assigned from time to time.
? Continue growth and development through training seminars and workshops
? Other related responsibilities/duties as may be assigned
NATURE OF WORK CONTACTS: Reports to Manager of Account Management and interacts with MTN Sales
personnel and General Sales Agents and all levels of internal personnel. Works independently; participates in
management meetings providing direction for sales services coordination; serves as a liaison between sales
department and staff and company departments, representing Sales and customer issues; and interacts with
TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing or equivalent
experience. PC software application skills must include Word at an advanced level for contract editing and version
management, proposals and formatting of complex documents with the insertion of images, tables, and graph and
chart creation, along with PowerPoint for presentation preparation and Excel. Must demonstrate excellent
