About this position:
Foursquare is building a world class sales organization with a mission of reinventing the way marketers connect with consumers at a hyper local level. As a Sales Coordinator, you'll have the unique opportunity to contribute to our initial monetization efforts by working closely with Foursquare's National Sales team in all pre and post sales-related activities. You'll have a hand in every aspect of our evolving Sales and Account Management processes, supporting the individual players as well as a rapidly evolving organization.
Support National Account Executives and Account Managers in day-to-day operations, proactively confronting ad operational issues throughout the campaign cycle.
Assist in the design, development and maintenance of sales presentations, sales marketing collateral, campaign materials, and internal documents
Field and respond to request for proposals (RFPs) in a timely and detailed manner, proposing appropriate products to satisfy the client's needs and interests
Coordinate efforts amongst internal teams, including Finance and Legal for all sales related contracts, such as insertion orders (IOs), master service agreements, etc.
Manage urgent, often external communications on behalf Account Executives and Account Managers as needed
Conduct benchmark analysis for the purpose of reporting on sales and campaign performance data, and forecasting new campaigns
Help shape the development of Foursquare?s monetization strategy as we build and iterate different marketing strategies for brands, national merchants, and SMBs by consulting with internal players to identify the challenges of our advertising offerings and provide solutions for enhancing and scaling our Sales efforts
1-2 years experience in sales or ad operations within a technology platform, media company or ad agency. Digital experience is a must!
Familiarity with software suites and web based tools, including Keynote, Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and PowerPoint), Adobe Photoshop and more!
Excellent communication, presentation, prioritization, and organizational skills, and a strong commitment to detail
Desire and passion for social media, including Foursquare
Self-motivated, team player comfortable in a small, intense and high-growth start-up environment
Extremely professional and positive demeanor
Track record of over-achievement
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
