The Deals Desk Manager will provide deal support to the field Sales organization on large, complex enterprise transactions ensuring deal structure, quoting, legal and finance issues adhere to revenue recognition policies and all quote-to-order requirements are addressed on a timely manner to minimally impact the sales cycle.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain dashboard of key deals in the pipeline, updated weekly for review by sales management during forecast reviews. Keep accurate records for all deals on key decisions.
- Review non-standard discount requests for gross margin qualification.
- Handle requests for RFP submissions. Maintain RFP Resource Center, ensure information is accurate in RFP's, and submissions are handled by due dates.
- Identify areas of improvement within the quote-to-order process to accelerate sales cycle.
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in a sales operations environment, preferably in the high tech industry, and working with Enterprise accounts in the quote-to-order process.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proven track record of effectively interfacing with cross-functional departments and sales management team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft applications; Salesforce.com experience a strong plus.
