Jive is looking for a Sales Development Manager to work with our highly visible and motivated lead-generation team that develops new opportunities with sales prospects and achieves individual, and organizational goals. Your team will generate new opportunities in both existing accounts and new markets.
Responsibilities:
Manage a team of team 10-12 Sales Development Representatives (SDR?s) responsible for both Inbound Market Response, and Outbound Prospecting. The Sales Development Manager works day-to-day to coach and develop SDR?s on prospect-research, call planning, call execution, sales-skills, and business processes.
Reporting on defined weekly and monthly metrics to sales & marketing leadership at Jive.
Motivating Individuals and SDR team to exceed objectives through coaching, regular broadcast of results and leadership.
Identifying, and implementing recommendations for improvement in the areas of SDR efficiency and productivity.
Driving outstanding performance through guided coaching and expectation-setting with team members.
Helping to identify and implement industry best practices, productivity automation systems for supporting Jive?s lead-generation structure for the team to scale.
Working with the VP of Demand Generation to align the team responsible for lead management and pipeline creation
Reinforcing existing structure and process around sales development?s partnership with sales, product and marketing
Establishing ongoing criteria for Sales Development?s involvement in sales process
Building internal relationships with key constituents, including Sales, Product, Marketing and Operations teams.
Required Skills/Experience:
5 years of experience in Software Sales?or Marketing lead-generation/Sales Development/Business Development
Two to five plus years of experience in software, inside sales management or sales development management, preferably in SaaS or enterprise applications
A consistent proven track record of over achievement of quota expectations
Proven record of sales success in a similar enterprise software application environment
Proven experience successfully managing people to achieve performance goals
Successful track record in a sales & marketing environment
Outstanding communication, organizational and time management skills
Excellent presentation and listening skills
Ability to hire, train and mentor new sales representatives ?- Self-motivated, driven, organized, detail oriented, able to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced environment
Ability to build strong relationships with partners and internal team members through collaboration and teaming
Proven analytical skills and ability to communicate information effectively to the team
Proven track record of developing solutions and driving pipeline
Outstanding presentation, verbal and written communication skills
Strategic thinker and self-starter
Strong conflict resolution skills
Bachelors degree required
