We are looking for an individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, a strong work ethic, and an affinity for customer service to help grow our Chicago office. The successful candidate will work closely with Account Executives and be responsible for generating sales qualified leads and providing first-class account management services.
This is a challenging and exciting role that will test your sales skills, strategic thinking, and ability to execute on a plan.
Create, generate and qualify outbound leads via email/phone to pass on to Account Executives
Identify a customer's business needs and articulate how Global Relay's solution can address those needs
Work in close collaboration with the Marketing and Account Executive team
Provide account intelligence and participate in developing account Update Salesforce with conversations, competitive information, company size, decision making criteria and other pertinent information
Coordinate activity with other Global Relay departments including Legal, Accounting, Provisioning, and Customer Support
Make extensive use of Web 2.0 tools to cold call/email and generate customer interest as well as provide a targeted value proposition.
Seek out opportunities for sales to new customers and channel partners
Achieve and exceed sales qualified lead target numbers
2+ years of lead generation or insides sales experience in a B2B environment, preferably cloud or SaaS based.
Able to respond confidently to questions or objections to C level prospects
Proficiency in phone sales and building a rapport
Excellent experience developing business relationships
Confident, driven, self-starter with strong organizational skills and Proven ability to research and prospect using email, telephone, and online networking sites
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Familiar with CRM systems, Linkedin, Jigsaw, etc. generating and managing leads
Bachelor's degree with a focus on Business Administration
