Sales Development RepresentativeJob DescriptionAntenna, a fast-growing company in the fast-paced world of mobile technology, is looking for talented individuals to join the inside sales organization in its Jersey City, NJ headquarters. If you are looking to start a career in sales, in one of the hottest sectors in business, at the company viewed by many as the most visionary in this space, then this is the opportunity for you.Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) are responsible for processing and identifying new sales leads and nurturing them through to qualified sales opportunities. The SDR manages inbound lead activity in their territory, qualifying active buying interest and developing opportunities in target prospect accounts. The SDR will also work with an Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to determine accounts that require further research and prospecting activities in an effort to secure additional qualified opportunities. The primary goal of an SDR is to develop relationships with prospects via nurturing activities from the point of initial inquiry through to qualified opportunity ? setting the stage for effective sales follow-up. Successful SDRs will be eligible for promotion to Inside Sales Representative (ISR) within a year. Primary Responsibilities
Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop target accounts and inbound leads to create sales-ready leads and opportunities
Interact with prospects via telephone and email
Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts to stimulate opportunity
Disseminate opportunities to appropriate ISR, educating as necessary about the opportunity
Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
Become a trusted resource and develop strong relationships with prospects
Update lead scoring and prospect interaction in salesforce.com and Marketo to ensure efficient lead management
Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas
Provide closed-loop feedback to ensure continuous process optimization
Minimum Requirements:
Desired Skills & Experience
A self-starter with a track record of successful, credible lead follow-up at multiple executive levels within an organization; familiarity with software space a plus
Pre-call planning
Opportunity pre-qualification and objection handling
Track record of achieving measurable inside sales goals where accurate entry and management of lead data in a CRM system was required, a plus
Ability to work in a high-energy sales and marketing team environment; team player
Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills
Salesforce.com or marketing automation experience a plus
Must have attention to detail, a commitment to quality and be customer focused
College degree or equivalent work experience
