Sales Development Representative Manager Telerik

A successful candidate will have the ability to guide the team in uncovering new sales opportunities in enterprise-sized accounts and will be able to work well independently and as a team player with sales reps and account managers. You and the team will aggressively identify and qualify new business opportunities through targeted outbound campaigns utilizing telephone, e-mail and the web. ? Manage the team of Sales Development Representatives in the achievement of goals, objectives, and monthly quota.
? Identify and qualify new business opportunities through targeted outbound campaigns utilizing effective cold-calling techniques.
? Focus on lead nurturing with prospects not ready to engage in the sales process.
? Interview, train, motivate, and continually coach Sales Development Representatives with the goal of promoting successful Sales Development Representatives to the next tier of sales positions.
? Ensure effective use of the CRM and marketing tools.
? Monitor and refine sales lead processes and metrics, developing recommendations for opportunities for growth and key target accounts.
? Assess market opportunities and develop business plans to meet revenue objectives.
? Form a positive working relationship with the sales team to maximize the impact and effectiveness of sales development in order to achieve revenue and profit goals.
? Work with the sales and marketing teams to ensure efficient exchange and hand-off of prospective customer and client information.
? Provide information and reports to inform management of sales progress and success.
? Develop strong relationships with all departments to gain knowledge of the business and support your coaching initiatives.
? Conduct forecasts and compile weekly/monthly team reports for the Director of Sales.
? Remove roadblocks to Sales Development Representative success in proactively providing quality leads/prospects to the sales team.
? Monitor, record, and evaluate coaching activities and effectiveness and identify areas of training needs in order to increase the sales performance of new hires.
? Enhance the team performance by observing sales skills and behaviors to identify areas for improvement, diagnosing root causes, and providing feedback.
Required Skills / Experience:
? Bachelor?s degree is preferred.
? Must have 3 or more years of management experience in sales development or business-to-business inside sales management, preferably in the tech. industry.
? Proven track record at establishing and achieving measurable goals of outbound teleprospecting practices in a sales development environment.
? Technology proficiency and experience with CRM systems.
? Experience cultivating and training a team of Sales Development Representatives.
? Ability to plan individual learning and development activities and develop effective sales coaching plans that improve performance over time.
? Sound business judgment and proven ability to influence others.
? Must have "sales hunter" skills with a demonstrated track record of persistence and tenacity in overcoming objections.
? Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and with multiple departments including sales, marketing, product marketing, and services.
? Results-oriented with the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment while staying organized.
? Ability to identify sales skills capabilities, diagnose possible root causes and provide helpful feedback.
