We are currently looking to recruit a Sales Development Representative to our rapidly growing UK organisation. Within this role you will be expected to both build and develop new opportunities within the enterprise market and look to position Palo Alto Networks as the Network Security supplier of choice. We are looking for candidates with ideally 2-4 years' experience as an Internal Sales or Telesales Account Manager. You will need to be able to demonstrate a proven track record of success in developing end-user accounts from cold call to close. Ideally you will have a background selling Security/Networking/Telecomms equipment; however, sales backgrounds such as Advertising, Financial, Insurance and Recruitment have had a high level of success in this role. This opportunity has fantastic career prospects working for one of the leading product vendors in this field. To be successful in this role you would need to be proactive, resilient, self-confident, a good communicator, a team player and consistent. Role:
Generate appointments for our field sales team
Follow up warm leads and pass qualified leads to our channel partners
Understanding the customers' needs and matching those to our solutions
Working to monthly & quarterly targets
Keep and maintain Salesforce database
Taking part in promotions and events to build company sales and reputation
Candidate needs to be self-motivated and disciplined individual
Must have a â€˜Can do, Hands on' approach
A proven track record in Business development, essentially in the IT industry.
An understanding of the core market to achieve new business.
