Sales Development Specialist - Inside Sales Symplified, Inc.

You will align with Symplified sales and marketing management to drive qualified leads from both inbound and outbound activities. You can effectively collaborate with a team of Field Sales, Solutions Engineers, Channel Managers, and Marketing personnel to identify and qualify potential opportunities to hand over to Field Sales Managers, Territory Managers or Channel partners. You are driven by results and can make things happen with limited supervision and personal motivation to excel.
What you get to do every day:
- Manage your assigned territory with a focus on identifying and qualifying leads while moving them through the qualification process and passing them to the Field Sales Managers, Territory Managers or assigned Channel Partners
- Meet and exceed lead objectives within Symplified's market segments supporting the Director of Sales in meeting corporate sales objectives
- Ensure all inbound responses are followed-up quickly and accounts are appropriately penetrated exceeding performance metrics that measure activity and productivity
- Conduct outbound target account calling campaigns
- Build a sustainable territory management model for success within the inside sales organization
- Develop relationships and communicate regularly with the your team mates in field, solution engineers, channel and marketing
- Continually improve your technical selling skills to include: phone, product training, sales prospecting, sales qualification, and sales process management
- Work closely with marketing, engineering, and other key stakeholders to provide feedback for up-to-date information needed to be successful and the support for lead generation efforts and driving pipeline
- Adhere to company's current sales methodologies and processes and help to evolve sales processes as the business evolves
- Stay up to date on current knowledge of Symplified's products, solution sets, customer use cases, and competitive product differences
What you bring to the role:
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience with:
- BS/BA or equivalent and a minimum 3 + years with successful consistent quotas achievement in previous a quota driven inside sales or lead generation role
- Proven relevant sales experience with complex enterprise software solutions
- Strong qualifying skills; able to reach prospects creatively, position products and handle objections
- Pro-active territory management skills with a goal oriented focus and high personal drive, integrity and energy
- Superior verbal and written communication skills are necessary
- Strong management, organizational and decision-making skills are critical
