We?re looking for an experienced and energetic social media enthusiast to support our sales and marketing efforts. As a member of the Sales Development team, you?ll play a pivotal role in communicating Tumblr?s image to our advertisers through sales materials and related assets tailored to individual businesses and industry verticals. What you?ll do:
Serve as a central point of contact to coordinate sales development, insights, and marketing activity across Tumblr sales teams.
Create sales material designed to raise awareness and understanding of Tumblr, and increase the attractiveness of the platform to Ad Buyers across multiple industry verticals.
Develop sales material and assets, including pitch presentations, that communicate the Tumblr message to multiple industry verticals.
Assist the development of comprehensive case studies on Tumblr Sponsorships that leverage quantitative and qualitative insights in order to communicate the dynamism and efficacy of the Tumblr platform to marketers.
Support the sales team through continual development of presentations, proposals, pitches, and marketing materials tailored to industries, individual brands, and/or advertising communities.
Help establish best practices and processes for inter-departmental collaboration in conjunction with other Tumblr staff and resources.
What we?re looking for:
2-3 years experience in account planning, sales, sales support, marketing and/or market research in a digital media company, startup, or online advertising organization.
Passion for Tumblr and an extensive understanding of our features.
Knowledge of the digital marketplace (including social and mobile) and the competitive landscape.
Someone incredibly organized with superb writing skills.
Entrepreneurial go-getter who works well in a fast-paced environment. Startup experience a plus.
BA/BS degree.
