This young, fast-growing wireless networking company is looking for key Sales Directors in the following regions:
Southeast U.S. (Atlanta, Florida, Nashville)
Northeast U.S. (Boston, New York, New Jersey)
Western U.S. (California)
The Sales Directors will:
Be responsible for the overall sales strategies and results of a major geographic area to achieve and exceed assigned quota.
Plan and direct all sales activities to sell products and services to new and/or current customers in an assigned region to achieve or exceed quota
Possess a keen understanding of the market and customer requirements, enabling them to deliver optimal solution proposals.
Establish and maintain customer satisfaction in area accounts, working collaboratively with systems engineering, customer support and channel partners.
Be able to present and communicate complex technical concepts effectively, matching customer requirements with company solutions.
Prospect and develop business, respond to RFPs, and develop effective proposals for presentation to customer.
Have applied knowledge of company solution, the industry marketplace, competing technologies, emerging technology trends, and local geography business environment.
Possess a strong background in Salesforce.com, maintain an extremely accurate 90 day forecast, manage pipeline development, and build territory plans, business reviews, sales reports, and sales strategies that achieve or exceed quota.
Coordinate sales and corporate resources effectively and maintain regular communication and follow up with established accounts to maintain customer satisfaction and develop new business opportunities.
Desired Skills and Experience
The preferred candidate:
Is a seasoned industry professional with strong experience in selling networking infrastructure, Wi-Fi / WLAN technologies and performance monitoring.
Has a consistent record of overachievement of sales quotas
Possesses a network of local geography contacts in the Healthcare and Higher Education space
Has identified, cultivated and optimized channel partner relationships to leverage a high-touch selling model
Possesses excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
Can sell to economic buyers as well as technical buyers, and understands how to communicate ROI, payback period, and risk avoidance concepts.
Can self-educate new and complex technologies quickly, and apply knowledge directly to customer interactions.
Is customer focused, attuned to customer needs, and places a premium on meeting customer expectations, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Has strong prospecting skills and motivation to create opportunities.
Is a strong team player, has extremely high integrity, has a very high energy level, is able to multitask effectively, and can adapt to overcome barriers to selling.
Holds a bachelor?s degree or equivalent training in business or sales management.
Is hungry for the opportunity to work with groundbreaking technology.
