Business Development Director, Astadia Digital - New York, NY
This is a unique opportunity to grow your career, make money, and have some fun selling Digital Strategy, UX and Design consulting and production services in one of the greatest cities in the world ? New York City ? for an experienced and talented digital agency based in Houston, TX. Work remotely, but collaboratively in a flexible, casual, but results-focused atmosphere.
You?ll be responsible for building, managing, and growing a personal business portfolio within our East Coast sales region, reviewing deals, creating and executing geographic sales strategies. All this to ultimately drive and maintain profit for the company, and get you on your way to financing whatever life needs and dreams you may have.
To be effective, you?ll need to have strong skills and experience in sales and negotiation, consultative selling, leadership, creative problem solving, and business-conscious decision-making. You?ll work with our sales support team to scope complex projects and structure accurate proposals. You?ll also be responsible for ongoing client relationship management, up/cross-selling, and, of course, closing deals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
?Successfully structure, price, sell and negotiate deals within the digital marketing services space (web design, mobile design, application design, UX/UI, content strategy, research, analytics, video and motion design, email marketing, online advertising, etc.)
?Ability to drive new firm business while maintaining a solid profit margin
?Ability to manage multiple concurrent opportunities
?Ability to build and lead a pursuit team consisting of both delivery and sales individuals through a successful sales cycle on closing future business
?Ability to monitor the performance of your region to meet or exceed company objectives
?Proven success and experience in selling digital agency services
?Excellent organization and time management skills
?Demonstrated business development, selling and relationship management skills
?Demonstrated leadership and team building skills
?Excellent verbal and written communication skills including advanced client-facing and presentation skills and the ability to influence and negotiate with clients
?Strong sales qualification skills
?Solid problem solving and decision making skills coupled with strong analytical thought processes
?Thorough understanding of key industry players and trends in the marketplace
?Demonstrated experience with deal scoping, proposal writing, deal structuring and contract negotiations.
?Significant experience in and exposure to agency (advertising, digital and/or marketing professional services) environments
Additional Qualifications / Expectations:
?Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, or other related field; related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
?5+ years of relevant experience selling in a consultative selling role
?3+ years in field experience as an individual contributor with individual quota responsibility
?Commitment to stay current with relevant new learning; active participant in company sponsored learning events
?Will uphold the highest of business ethics and personal integrity
