Sales Director - Western Region Medialets
Sales Director ? Western Region (Los Angeles or San Francisco Based)
This position requires expertise in all aspects of the advertising technical sales process, from intensive prospecting, accurate forecasting, solution selling and strong closing abilities, to superior relationship building with customers through a detailed understanding of the clients business needs.
Medialets is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable sales professional with the confidence, passion and drive necessary to build and grow great relationships with our clients and the market as well as build out our western region practice. The successful candidate will be able to evangelize our cool, engaging and uniquely effective ad-platform to agencies and advertisers, and to nurture agency and brand direct clients to garner increasing volumes every quarter.
You will be able to embrace the merger of mobile advertising technology and mobile advertising and have a skill set that goes beyond the traditional digital media sales profile.
Activities include identifying opportunities; building and sustaining relationships; negotiating deal terms and pricing; resolving concerns; product demonstrations; closing the deal; ensuring client satisfaction and growing clients? Medialets usage.
You have a proven success in selling media technology, mobile solutions or ad serving technologies, managing account strategy and developing advertising solutions to client specific needs.
You have existing relationships with agency operational executives, media teams at agencies and marketing managers at top brands to foster new relationships, penetrate new accounts, and drive new business in the emerging mobile segment.
You have a deep passion for digital marketing and the power it has to change the way business is done.
You have the ability to effectively manage a large number of accounts concurrently.
MORE ABOUT YOU:
Minimum of 7 ? 10 years digital media sales experience
Combination of agency and client side experience is strongly preferred
Proven ability to work with established brands and emerging companies to build integrated work flow
Superior communication, technical, questioning, listening and presentation skills
Ability to process information and incorporate feedback in an interactive business conversation
Disciplined work style with the ability to work independently and within a team
Strong team player who can wear many hats and always be part of the solution
Entrepreneurial style makes you effective at working remotely
Undergraduate degree required; preferably in business-related discipline
