The Role
In light of our exponential growth we are seeking to build our sales team here in New York. We are on the lookout for a top-notch, digitally savvy Sales Director to help drive revenue. This individual's primary objective is twofold: To aggressively grow the client base and manage existing accounts with advertising agencies and clients directly. This is an excellent opportunity to deepen your digital experience and build extremely valuable relationships with some of the world's top brands. In addition to a sunny, spacious and friendly work environment in the Flatiron, we are offering a very competitive compensation package and the chance to work with an executive team comprised of well known and respected industry veterans.
About You
You are someone that's been selling and managing accounts in the online media industry for at least 7 years and you're passionate about digital and social media in particular. While you consider yourself a team player, you are also highly entrepreneurial and can work effectively independently. You've blown out your quarterly and annual sales targets in your current and past positions and you rank as one of the top sellers on your team. Because this role is highly consultative, it calls for someone with excellent client-facing, negotiation and presentation skills. These are some major CPG brands you'll be handling here so polish is particularly important. Be forewarned -- if we meet you think you may be a great fit, the next step in the interview process will include a presentation. This is a senior level sales position and we are only considering individuals with relevant contacts and a verifiable track record in the online media and advertising industry.

Here are some of the qualities we are looking for:
7+ years experience in online media
4+ years sales experience
Track record of meeting and/or exceeding quarterly and annual targets
Self motivated, diligent
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent presentation skills
Entrepreneurial attitude and a desire to work at a start-up
4 year degree from an accredited academic institution
Positive, upbeat attitude and friendly disposition
Sense of humor
