Sales Director Zillow
Zillow is looking for a qualified sales director to lead, manage and motivate the New York based digital sales team.
The sales director will have an excellent track record for exceeding sales targets and managing both client and agency relationships in NYC. Ideally, the candidate would also have strong established relationships in the home improvement category which is endemic to Zillow.
The candidate must be a strong strategic thinker, highly organized and able to thrive in a fast paced and team oriented environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ensure that sales objectives and revenue goals are achieved by working with the NYC based digital sales team to complete RFP?s, have a high call volume and close sales.
Provides weekly sales projections and forecasts; measure and report on key metrics.
Maintain relationships with ad agencies and senior management especially in the home vertical.
Hire, train and mentor new and existing reps on the most effective methods of achieving goals.
Be a key strategic contributor to management team by channeling customer insights, metrics and overall revenue performance.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Strong track record of sales success in NYC and surrounding East Coast region.
Personal rapport and contact with senior level decision makers at both the client and the agency.
Motivated and team oriented.
Prior experience managing a team.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Passion for selling in the online space; demonstrated success in a high-volume, fast-paced environment coupled with a ?can do? attitude.
