Sales Director of Publisher Development Adknowledge Inc.
Giant Media by Adknowledge, is a native video platform that distributes branded videos for innovative, creative, and forward-thinking brands and agencies. We deliver highly targeted views leveraging our VideoStat platform to activate content across the Internet.
The Sales Director of Publisher Development, will work closely with all departments at Giant Media, including Ad Operations, Accounts, Sales and Engineering, as well as the Executive team. This person will report directly to the VP, Founder.
The Sales Director of Publisher Development sources and establishes new relationships with publishers and related service providers/aggregators. In this role, you will help increase monetization by establishing a network of publishers for distribution of brands and media companies videos. Primary duties include:
Identify, approach and close new publishers across desktop, mobile and social distribution platforms.
Manage and expand our current publisher relations both through campaigns and big picture level.
Manage a pipeline and accurately forecast. Prioritize to optimize revenue and minimize engineering requirements. Establish and maintain accurate data in Salesforce.com.
Partner with leadership team to establish and execute against a strategic business development plan.
Work with Ad Operations to monitor publisher revenue and determine opportunities for optimize growth potential.
Prepare and present detailed business review to management on a weekly basis.
Represent Adknowledge at conferences, tradeshows, and industry events to evangelize our solutions for customers and the market.
Additional duties include:
Creating materials and assets designed to educate publisher and attract them to Giant Media
Assisting sales and accounts on specific and niche publisher needs for clients
Overseeing and approving publisher payments and invoicing process
The successful candidate will be an inspiring and confident leader with at least:
3+ years of experience of publisher development in digital media
Strong rolodex with the digital publishing community
Experience negotiating deals with digital publishers, networks and platforms
Proficient use of Microsoft Office
